A Model Of Indian Navy Destroyer Was Dedicated To The City Of Mumbai

A model of IndianNavy indigenously built guided missile Destroyer INS Mumbai (D62) was dedicated to the city of Mumbai at JK Kapur chowk, Worli on 13 Dec 20 by Shri Aditya Thackeray, Tourism & Environment Minister, Govt of Maharashtra, in presence of Rear Admiral Vennam Srinivas, Flag Officer Maharashtra Area (FOMA).

The ship’s model next to the iconic Bandra Worli Sealink highlights the contribution of Indian navy towards safeguarding the maritime frontiers of the nation. Mumbai is the home of Western Fleet, showcasing the Maritime Connect & strong bonds Indian Navy shares with the city.
