World War III: Is It Near?

Geopolitics of War

The Possibility Of A Self Destruction!

“Over 3,400 years of human civilization history only 268 years were peaceful or just 8% of recorded history the rest civilizations were at war”!

America’s Iranian Interception

The beginning of 2020 raised an alarm of mass-scale war due to escalating tensions between America and Iran. The reason, encounter of Quasem Soleimani a top brass Iranian Military General by the US Military in Iraq followed by a cyber attack on Iran’s Natanz Nuclear Power Facility causing a huge power outage in Iran making Iran more furious to mobilize its forces against the US and Israel.

India V/S China

In the month of May got tensions escalated between two Asian countries, India and China. The reason being China’s ploy to capture Galwan Valley from India. Both states did huge military mobilization against their borders. Moreover, P.L.A claimed several landmasses of the Indian Republic. In that delicate situation, a miscalculation could have invoked a war among the two claiming lives of billions!

The Issue of Nagorno-Karabakh

September came again with news of contentions between Armenia and Azerbaijan over Nagorno-Karabakh an issue since 1991! With both countries claiming the land for their dominance in the region they also engaged in a small-scale war. It raged Armenia to the core when Azerbaijan shot down their SU-25 aircraft. It was a matter of seconds when world war could’ve invoked with both countries calling their allies CSTO and NATO. Later Russian federation came to mediation and solved the issue temporarily.

India-Pakistan Again?

In 2021 a new report from the US mentions a large-scale war between India and Pakistan! This report states that Pakistan-sponsored terror organizations will carry out a huge attack over India shattering India’s patience of peacekeeping resulting in a devastating war. It also claims a small-scale war between India and China.

Conclusion

It is important to note that world peace is always at stake whenever a violent conflict starts among countries. These grave situations have two paths: the one advocates of non-violence, the other being exactly the opposite, that is be strong enough to deter the enemies so that you are ready for war but always as peace.

Now, it’s up to countries to decide which path to take. But for India the second road would be far better!
