‘Fireworks At Sea’: Video Of Missile Tests From Indian Warships

On Diwali, the Indian Navy has released a new video showing multiple weapons tests from its frontline warships at sea.

The video, posted by the Navy on Twitter, was labeled ‘Fireworks at Sea’.

The video shows the Navy’s frontline warships firing weapons such as the BrahMos cruise missile, rockets, anti-ship missiles and torpedoes.

Indian Navy’s fighters, Mig-29Ks, can be seen firing flares in the video.

The video was released at a time when multiple states in the country had banned firecrackers ahead of the festival of Diwali.

The Navy tested BrahMos cruise missile from its indigenous stealth destroyer INS Chennai on 18 October in the Arabian Sea. Uran anti-ship missile was fired from the Navy’s Veer-class missile corvette INS Prabal on 23 October.
