IAF Likely To Go With Rafale Fighter Jets In The MMRCA Deal

India procured 36 Rafale fighters from France. India is operating less than one squadron of Rafale jets. The Indian Air Force is showing positive signs for the Rafale fighter. In the coming Republic day on 26 January Rafale will be seen in the culminating the flypast by carrying out the ‘Vertical Charlie’ formation.

Even Air Force chief gave hint during his visit in Jodhpur air force station where currently Desert Knight-21 is going on between Indian and French Air Forces.

Even during the Exercise Desert Knight-21, is being at Jodhpur Air Force Station. Rafale Fighters is the main fighter aircraft to provide experience in the air to air combat along with Sukhoi 30MKI.

During the Exercise Desert Knight-21 IAF Squadron leader Sarthak Kumar, on being asked if Indian Rafales were more advanced than their French counterparts, at Jodhpur Air Force Station so he replied: “Rafales which we (Indian Air Force) have are the fastest and most advanced as of now”.

After the Desert Knight-21, the Indian Air Force pilots will gain more experience on the Rafale Fighter Jet.
