Two Pakistani Soldiers Killed As Army Retaliates To Ceasefire Violation

Two Pakistan Army soldiers were killed along the Line of Control (LoC) opposite Naushera sector in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district by the Indian Army while retaliating to ceasefire violation by the Pakistan Army there on Tuesday, sources said.

“Two Pakistan Army soldiers were killed along LoC opposite the Naushera sector by Indian Army while retaliating to ceasefire violation by the Pakistan Army there yesterday,” sources told news agency ANI on Wednesday.

The incident came days after Vice Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Lt Gen Satinder Kumar Saini said that the number of ceasefire violations along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir had surged. The officer said that the Pakistani side was using artillery to target innocent civilians.
