Indian Army Conducted Joint Training With Indian Navy

On March 20, 2025 – the Indian Army’s Golden Katar Division, under the Konark Corps, conducted a joint training exercise with the Indian Navy in Okha, Gujarat. The exercise, aimed at rehearsing drills in response to internal security situations, underscored the military’s commitment to fostering synergy and streamlining common operating procedures between the two services.

Photographs shared by the Konark Corps on X revealed soldiers in action, practicing room-clearing operations, taking firing positions behind cover, and engaging in briefings. The troops, dressed in camouflage uniforms, were seen handling a mix of firearms, including the modern SIG Sauer 716 assault rifles and older INSAS, highlighting the ongoing transition in the Indian armed forces’ equipment.
