Two Army Soldiers Attained Veergati In Blast Along LoC In Rajouri
Two Army Soldiers (Lt. Rishi Kumar and Sepoy Manjeet Singh) attained veergati in an explosion that took place under mysterious circumstances along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s border district Rajouri. Both the Army personnel were critically injured in the explosion near a forward post along the Line of Control in the Rajouri district of the union territory. The area has been cordoned off.
Sources said that the deceased were part of an Army patrol which was on routine patrolling near a forward location in the Lam sector in Nowshera.

Following the explosion, the critically injured Army personnel were immediately evacuated to a hospital, where they succumbed, sources added.
Earlier on October 11, five army personnel including a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) were killed in anti-terrorist operations in the DKG area of Rajouri adjoining the Poonch sector.
