Why To Score Good Marks In NDA Written?

The final merit list is made on the basis of your written + SSB/NSB/AFSB marks. Scoring good marks in an interview is not in your hand, but scoring good marks in written is totally in your approach.

The cutoff of NDA written generally ranges between 320-350. Scoring good marks more than cut off will increase your chances of getting into the academy.

Many candidates qualify for both written and SSB/NSB/AFSB interviews, but due to their low written marks they are not able to join the academy, that is they got merit out. Even if they got into the merit but are at the last rank, then again they got merit out.

Thus, scoring good marks in written matters a lot and 450+, is best possible and realistic marks to score.

  1. Hey buddy, let me tell you my experience. In the very first time i was of the opinion that yeah i will study everything….and do everything. I was of pcm background and was preparing for JEE advance. I gave proper attention to the subject like history geography polity etc. Finally when i gave the exam i realised that, for PCM student studying history geography polity was complete wastage of time and energy. Even without attempting these subjects, i managed to score 510. Now talking about the second attempt, i went casually to the exam center. That time i devoted my entire focus to mathematics. The phyisics and chemistry that comes in the paper are not at all of the 11th and 12th standard level. And guess what, this time i score 534…without studying anything except maths..🤣🤣. So i came to the conclusion that PCM guys should only focus on PCM, English and current affairs.

    1. Yes, I do agree that math, english and current affairs is enough. But I have discussed about a holistic approach that a majority a students can follow…….
