Meet Two Women Officers Who Received Permanent Commissioned In The Indian Army
Women officers elated after receiving a permanent commission in the Indian Army. Lieutenant Colonel Arthi Tiwari and Lieutenant Colonel Rohina Varghese in Akhnoor are among those who received a permanent commission in the Indian Army.
“I’m happy that we have been granted a permanent commission and it’s a matter to be proud of,” said Lt Col Arthi Tiwari & Lt Col Rohina.
Lt Col Arthi Tewari & Lt Col Rohina posted in Jammu sector close to Pak border.
On the direction of the apex court, out of the 615 women officers of Indian Army, 422 were found eligible (on merit ground) for permanent commission recently, Lt Col Arthi Tewari & Lt Col Rohina are among those 422.
